Pacific Seacraft Lives On

It’s always sad to see a boatbuilder bite the dust, and even sadder when a respected brand name is lost. Stephen Brodie, a businessman from North Carolina, has bought the company’s assets, including all the molds and tooling, and will ship them home to the East coast.

The assets include six partially-finished hulls, which Brodie will complete before starting new builds. "North Carolina is rich in boatbuilding talent, and I have no doubt we can produce high-quality boats," Brodie said.
